Hallenbad Heslach

The indoor swimming pool in Stuttgart Heslach was a commissioned work for the Google Maps Campaign 2018. The image shows the cultural monument which was built in 1929 in the style of the new objectivity. Its 50-metre pool was the largest indoor pool in Germany at that time. The roof with its horizontal light bands, supported by reinforced concrete arches was sensational back then.
