Lights of Laponia
Leading through the largest national parks in the Swedish part of Lapland, this series captures stunning nature and the fascinating spectacle of the Aurora Borealis, the northern lights. The Lapponian Area is about the same size as Cyprus and is the largest nature reserve in Europe, it is located in northern Sweden. In 1996 Lapland became a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for both natural and cultural reasons. We spent two weeks inside the reserve, drove over 7,500km on the hunt for stunning starry skies with bright northern lights – and it was worth it – we were rewarded with breath taking nights full of colourful Aurora Borealis.
